If you have Windows, I recommend installing Belarc Advisor which is free and it will tell you what your Windows product key is. If your drive fails you wouldn't be able to do a re-install of Windows on a replacement drive without the product key unless you bought a new license.

Another free program is CrystalDiskInfo which reports on your drive health.
