I agree with you, they should know by now if Fort Liard well was a dud and they would have abandoned it already and written off the expense in 1997.

It would be nice if we knew of any new property purchases in the near vicinity of Fort Liard or Fort Norman NWT. This would at least confirm to me that they have found something of significance and that they intend to continue to explore in the general area.

Perhaps they are waiting for the market to stabilize before they announce the find thereby giving them the full effect of positive news on an upward moving market.

The stock has been strengthening lately so I feel that we have seen the lows at least for the short term. No telling were this market is heading in the longer term.

I'm still positive on gas prices even with this warmer than usual weather. I feel supplies are tight and the first sign of colder weather will push gas prices higher.

I believe that there is another company drilling in the general area in near future and another has completed seismic and is planning to drill in summer months.

Here's hoping for the mother load of all gas finds in 1998. IMHO, that will add a couple of bucks to Rangers stock price.

Cheers and good investing in 98
