Michael the analogy was only to what was argued at the time regarding the regulation of property rights and the right to free association when restaurants and bars and hotels etc, were forced to desegregate. It is, I think, an apt analogy and has nothing to do with the plight of African Americans and EVERYTHING to do with Constitutional law. I am able to argue quite convinvincingly that desgegation orders for private businesses were unconstitutional. I could probably constuct a really good argument for your positition but you should be able to do that considering how avid your belief in your position seems to be. I know there are convincing arguments to be made for your position but you are not making them.
