Hi ski,

Just a note on a put I sold last year on infn.

I had sold 30 $10.00 January 2017 puts on Infinera - 15 for $1.05 and 15 for $1.12 so I have an average of 1.08 for a net purchase price of $8.92.

Infn has a leading technology in PIC's Photonic Integrated Circuits.

They announced the next generation last January in 2016 and have been slow to implement it.

In between they wrapped up a merger Transmode another PIC maker. This gives them a vertical competency for the long line of sea cables and fiber on land.

Their resumption of revenue has been stalled with a "too early introduction" announcement of the next generation of switches and they have suffered a stock price decline in 2016.

2017 is supposed to be a very strong year in data center construction and Infn is perched to be a leader in speed and more importantly the lowest in cost of ownership.

This stock does not pay a dividend but has an exceptional potential to catch great growth.

It is a rare exception to my must have a dividend - but I have always been a believer in satellite and fiber cable, and now the clouds interconnections with large point of presence cloud servers.

My long term beliefs of the inter-connectiveness between the internet and cloud services has to ultimately utilize the photons of light vs the electrons of electricity.

Light is faster and does not produce heat - two huge advantages and they have evolved over the last 19 years of my study to the point I just want a small betting position to nibble away at.

As a note of interest,of the 3000 shares I sold puts on, 1500 were assigned early to me last night and today.

I'm 50 cents underwater but often the $9.82 net purchase price would be a bit below the current market price.

Had I been a bit more patient I could have gotten a larger premium for them by about 90 cents several times and the scary low was on November 4 at $7.23 - a full 1.69 below my net price.

I'll hold these shares and anxiously await the earnings call on Feb 9th AH - expected earnings (loss) is estimated at ( -.13).

Any sign of revenue picking up and this stock will be over $10.00 quickly IMO.
