The most valuable understanding you can have is that if an event occurs where your prepping becomes visually valuable, those that survive will kill you for your assets. Put money into weapons and defensive skills.

In USA, I can get high capacity semi auto weapons that are reliable for $600. Both long guns and handguns are in that price range. If I only had $600 and I was the only shooter, I'd buy a Ruger AR15. If I had to supply 3 shooters, I'd by 3 H&R Partner shotguns.

Large stores of grains is inexpensive and will keep for years in sealed plastic food grade buckets.

Find friends or relatives to help secure your environment.
