You're just plain wrong... the participation rate represents ALL who are able and capable of participating, it does NOT include those retired... who ever told you otherwise gave you false information or is a liar, or both...

And those fake jobs created by that maggot are also lies, for every six full time jobs lost, he created 4 part time jobs... then he claims he created 4 new jobs... add it up yourself...

The participation rate is a measure of the active portion of an economy's labor force. It refers to the number of people who are either employed or are actively looking for work. During an economic recession, many workers often get discouraged and stop looking for employment, resulting in a decrease in the participation rate. Those retired are not included.
