You're worrying too much, give him a chance, it's only Saturday evening, he only took the Oath yesterday... chill and let the guy get started...
I agree - let's see what the guy does.
If he screws up, then give him hell and more - but these protests - and especially the violence - before the possible future fact only serves to deafen the message should it be needed later.
"but - but - but - women's rights!"
Where has Trump done anything that violated woman's rights? <-yet?
He's said things! "Grab pussy"? <- please, crap talk from 20 years ago? Really? What actions has he taken? "fat pig" <- oh my hurt feelings, such micro aggression, obviously he should be impeached!!!
There was someone at the inauguration (along with his wife who not only protected him against the later actions of his victims, but attacked his victims) who has done quite a bit more than "disrespect" women and if he were an ordinary person, he would likely be in jail for what he did to those women.
Even if you say "oh it was all consensual" <- yeah right, what do you call a boss who takes sexual advantage (still advantage even if "consensual") of his subordinate? Huffington Post said something about that: huffingtonpost.com If you don't want to click on the link, to sum up in three words: "It's like incest". Hmmmm, Bill, Bill, Bill.
Yes of course I understand that the message that should be going out should be to remind Trump to respect women's rights - however the press has made many women scared ("oh he's an orange abuser!") - but the message that the protesters are providing are more an attack on Trump more than anything else.
And when you are being attacked, how are you likely to view and to respond to the attacker's message?
I read and listen to both sides. Heck, most of the people I know are left or independent, very few right.
At this time, from what I see, the left sadly is crying "hate" but they are being the haters.
<sarcasm> Yes, the protest as shown below will present the message effectively </sarcasm>:
and we aim higher - we "love" /s
Ooooh - nasty - that's good right? Depends on who you hang with.
One sign looks like it says "vote" Hey - a bit late for that - you should have done that back in November and not laid on your couch watching "Oprah" and "Rosie" - as the people in the UK learned, there is no "do overs". You vote when you are supposed to, it's called "personal responsibility".
Crap, I think I know someone in this picture that I got from the web - really.
Cute meme. Where is Trump's hate, you lover you?
Nasty words - growing up I learned that people who like to use "bad words" use them because their mind works on a low intellectual base level. It could be forgiven I suppose because apparently this is an emotional subject for her, and that is the other time that such words are used (ha).
The "Voldemort" part is cute. Okay, you don't like Trump, fine.
However she is talking about the color of his skin - isn't that racist?

It's quite possible that this sign is very true!
Oh micro aggression, such humor is not allowed!
Who is your presidente, darling? <- oh no, I'm so sorry, that sounded so- so- so - sexist! But I do wonder, who is her presidente, then? If not Trump, then her "protest" is like me complaining about the color paint that you use to paint the walls of your house. |
