My software when scanning for Ichimoku trades. provides scanning of any combination of the four indicators versus each other and or price. A big factors for success, I find is to be sure the Chikou or Lagging span is Above price It will cross up price prior to a bottom being established or a sudden reversal has taken place.
In a down trending stock the lag span is below price. So when it moves above it suggests the trend is changing. And seems to offer early of warning The same happens in reverse near a top. Very interesting system So far so good.

Working on a livable exit strategy with in the system to ensure decent gains, eliminate unnecessary trading fee draw down. but still not leave money idle on the table for extended periods.
The fastest and largest gains look to result from conversion crossing up through base above the cloud with decent volume.
