It has been unpleasant watching NZ go from number 3 in GDP per person about 60 years ago to way down in the muck somewhere. Along with that, the murder rate, robberies, burglaries, violence and social muck has boomed. Sorry to hear that. But it's the case with most of the advanced world. I came to the conclusion that Leftists and generally Marxists of all degrees and types really have nothing to offer - except for their self proclaimed management skills (of which they have very little) and a predilection for "fairness". They are good at finding creative ways of redistributing wealth - while, in the process, making themselves important to those on the receiving side. In other words, they're good at buying votes using taxpayer's money -- stealing power.
