Certainly would be helpful if mullas would just go away... but for now, appears they have fallen into Russia orbit (at least as far as weapons supply).

Also Russia has just received 50 year lease on its naval base and air base in Syria... appears they will be permanent fixtures in region, so without a deal with Putin, how do you "deal" with Iran?

Appears Putin out played Obama and Kerry in this (not apparently much of a challenge).
