Yes, I'm with Rambus.
Zitel looks like it might end up as a zero, but it's not as clearcut as Panda. Lots of hype left, be careful.
The amazing thing about Panda is that the VSPA package is actually not a ridiculous idea. The Compass connector is mediocre at best and the Archistrat is completely idiotic, and Stanford insistence on pursuing both is going to destroy the company. Of course, Stanford is really the source of all of the company's problems. I was told by a very senior packaging person at Intel a great story about Stanford. Panda was pushing the VSPA at Intel and my source was asking questions about some of the weaknesses of VSPA. Rather than acknowledging the issues and discussing them rationally, Stanford made a comment that "you probably wouldn't understand" (why the VSPA is the perfect package). This to one the main decision makers at Intel and a very senior and experienced packaging person. Hint to Stanford: this is not a good way to get sales.
I once asked Stanford some fairly obvious question about the Archistrat (at a private placement road show over a year ago). I got, more or less, the same response: "The best minds in computers have blessed this, so who are you to question me, your don't know what you're talking about, etc.", more or less screaming. To put it mildly, Stanford doesn't handle even mild critism well.
He also appears to have a problem keeping senior staff at Panda. Take a look at the old news files - nearly none of the VPs stays for more than a year or so.
It amazes me that the company has strung it out this long.
