I don't think the Democrats have faced up to the fact that the Clinton/Obama coalition is dead. The American people elected a man who is a barbarian of the highest order and has no respect for women. They elected a PIG who they trusted more than Hillary Clinton. Think about who Donald Trump is and the slimeball he represents and then try to digest the fact that he was elected President of the United States. That tells you that the American people viewed Hillary Clinton as worse than a slimeball. Fact is the Democratic Party needs a complete make over. The centrist DNC was perceived as a totalitarian fascist POS. The sooner the Democrats completely break from the Obama/Clinton War Mongering coalition, the better the chance they will have to make up gains in the 2018 midterm elections. Donald Trump may have been viewed as offensive and immoral, but the vast majority of the American people viewed Hillary Clinton as a criminal unfit to be President. She won the popular vote, thanks to California and Silicon Valley's concern over hiring foreigners to do their software work. But Donald Trump actually scored points against the Democrats by suggesting they enter into needless wars. And what he said was true. The Democratic Party has become the War Mongering Party. The situation is quite serious and all I see so far is the Democrats failing to recover from the shock of losing to Donald Trump. Wake up. Your Party sucks! It doesn't represent minorities or anyone except Wall Street for that matter. Hillary Clinton was filled with empty words and slogans and inspired no one. New leadership is necessary. For starters, I would make Bernie Sanders the chairman of the DNC. Let Sanders do all the hiring and set the agenda. Get rid of the centrist platform and all the Hawks. Give the American people a real choice for a change. Unfortunately, now the ball is firmly under Donald Trump's hand. But the Democrats need to offer the American people a true alternative to the conservative agenda, not some wishy washy unspecified alternative that worships Wall Street. Just think about this: Trump won the election by insulting Janet Yellen and the whole US stock market. The guy had nerve and balls. The Democrats had nothing to inspire Joe 6 Pack. Is it any wonder Trump won?
