Unless DEC is making chips for C-Cube, the Snazzi board
has no C-Cube chips on it. At least the one in my system
dosen't. I'm not even sure that it's got hardware mpeg1
codec. From the manual it's described as "a real-time MPEG-1
video and audio encoder/decoder PCI add-in card and software
solution". I know it can't encode the advertised 30 fps with
a 133 MHz AMD K-5. I'll be talking with tech support to
find out what is going on. I am a bit disappointed after
working with it for an afternoon.
