English, German, Italian, French, Swedish, Japanese, Danish. Have given up on my Spanish since we sold our San Diego home 11 years ago.
Well I dream, speak, read, write and understand 4 of them like my mother tongue, the rest of them just like normal foreign languages with a need for a 2 weeks warm-up before I go there.
Why do I waste my time trying to explain any of this to you? You'd have no clue anyway!
Now. all of above said, proficiency of several languages as opposed to what too many liberals believe, has nothing to do with IQ.
For me much of it came naturally from having been moved around by family since my 12th year of age.
