Nothing, if you have confidence they can control the process, and maybe they can.

I think that is a difficult point because there are a LOT of people who don't want a national ID card. But I think it will be tolerable as a combined voter registration/voter ID. The "card" itself need not contain a visible ID.

There IS a point to it.

My argument is this simple: We do not know HOW MANY ineligible people are voting. Maybe it isn't a problem, maybe it is a big problem. We have no idea.
