Dear Nancy:

If you go back to my post #121 I was posing hypothetical circumstances in an attempt to dislodge the truth from an inquisitive mind. Nowhere did I ever say that there was not any good in Moses. If you are saying there was all good in Moses then why was he punished ?

I have" cry foul". To me your response was judgemental and prejudiced.

Obviously, God attributed a great deal of respect unto Moses, seemingly as much as he does to born again believers that have the right and priveledge of direct contact with God through Christ Jesus.

Getting back to my original querries tell me how was Moses disobedient in striking the rock ? Was this a personal punishment or was it a punishment attributed to the Law and Moses being representative of the Law ? Was the punishment directed at Moses because of his personal disobedience or was it attributed to Moses's judgement of his people?. Was God harsh in His judgement of Moses or lenient.? Did Moses's past behavoir enter, at all, into God's judgement. ?

If you can offer any replies germane to these questions I would be interested in your reply.? In Christ..gregor
