On the surface, I'd agree with the premise of your statements. In the practical application of the "travel ban", I believe he overreached.

In the rush to implement the strategy you detailed in your post, he has made some obvious and serious mistakes. These are the kind of mistakes you don't expect to be made by the Executive Branch of the govt. The same way his "hiring freeze" for all government agencies didn't take into account many aspects of their individual operating requirements, most specifically the VA. Someone who says "the government is the problem" and then shuts down the government without understanding the fallout of these actions is either stupid or irrational. I believe that most of this is intentional. I think that this is reckless and will create more "laws of unintended consequences" than is needed or even logical. He and his staff are seeing just how far they can go with each move. Left unchecked, we could find ourselves in a much more dangerous situation due to the speed with which they are acting.

Oops, we didn't think of that part....well, that's not what we want to keep hearing from the leader of the free world!!

At any rate, the market was in need of a little steam being let out of the boiling pot....we got some of that early this morning!

Let's see how and where we start getting the BTD mentality....
