A couple of gaps that could be closed from the beginning of Dec and Jan (lower in this chart).

If the SPY would fall that low, there would be a lot of fear created during the decline and that might setup a great platform for the bull move to resume.....but first things first.

Let's see if we even get down to the gap from a month ago, as there is a ton of support in the 225-226 area!!

As relatively strong as this market has been for the past 3 months, a pause at this stage is not surprising to this observer.
