The point I was trying to make is that Li is one of the most unstable elements around but also makes it a good element for a chemical battery since it gives off electrons quite freely. Going to a polymer mix is an effort to place Li in an environment where it's properties can be controlled. However, I have to assume that when they (VLNC) start "tweeking" the mix the end product still has to go through some pretty rigerous testing which takes a lot of time. That's why I think anytime we hear about "changes" to the line some of that change will include delays as they test the results. Therefore, I have learned to take any estimate of a final product with a grain of salt.
