I do not know. Note that this happened once before a few weeks ago. Somebody ran the price up quite a bit and got us all excited. Then the stock was allowed to drift lower. It puzzles me also. It seems the person doing this could now own 80% more shares if he was patient in his approach. I seem to remember it was two years ago last fall that the application for a mining permit was filed. It looks like we could be getting close to approval, or at least to a response that tells Verde what the next step is to be. I wonder if anybody knows if the government is still willing to help finance the mine. My bet is they will not. They are short of cash and are gun-shy about the appearance of corruption. So, if we get approval we must shop around a gigantic deposit of KO and a permit to mine it. A ready made deal for some big company. It will be interesting to see who bites on this deal. It will need to be a company that understands the potash market and the difference between KO and KCl. And a company that has $400 million.
