Yep, my law school friend in the State Department is all tears and gnashing of teeth.

It's the old jibe about Foggy Bottom: the embassy of the world to the US instead of the other way around. My friend worked too long on Syrian refugee camps in Turkey. He thinks he's representing their interests and being their advocate in our government, instead of the other way around.

They aren't going to like it that Trump is going to twist their arms and make them represent our interests, not the world's interests at our expense.
