Yes... my family was staunchly Kuo Min Tang but Frankly... PRC should just get over Taiwan and if anything link up culturally... Not Pompous.. You are making assumptions.. You will be hard pressed to find me dogmatic .. Dogma kills the mind... I agree... that is LIVING in the past as opposed to learning from it... There is a HUGE difference.. The past should not be dismissed.. but you also need to let go at a certain point.. It also is something to use as a guide to assessing the current stater of things... binary does not work until proven and secure... otherwise the flow is what counts...
