The environment policies of the Trump administration are the best things about his administration. My problem is the appointees won't go far enough. Perry flipped from wanting to abolish DoE to regretting saying that. Pruitt will try to make EPA 'work right' I believe. But the next Democrat in the WH will turn EPA and DoE back to what they've been under Obama with a flourish of a pen.

If EPA and DoE were abolished, they'd need Congressional action to establish them again.

The good legislation passed during the Seventies can be kept and all environmental regulation passed to the states who all have their own environmental agencies.
