Amazing amounts of snow out west. Meanwhile, massive amounts of heat leaking into the stratosphere. This isn't supposed to happen in global warming, since CO2 is supposed to trap heat in the troposphere. So the oceans get hot, and we see a lot 2 cooling factors step up to the plate: convection/precipitation and heat transfer into the stratosphere. Much more to come.
