"The United States and China will fight a war within the next 10 years over islands in the South China Sea, and there’s no doubt about that.Steve Bannon, 2016

The US will also be in another “major” war in the Middle East." — Steve Bannon, 2016 - theguardian.com

I see Donald Trump and Steve Bannon as fantasists lost in their own imaginary pantomime world. You certainly can't get anything accomplished with other people treating them the way they are - it's as if they're acting out for each other or an unseen film camera.

Trump said his just ended phone call with the PM of Australia Malcom Turnbull "was the worst call with a foreign leader ever." It's laughable. The President of Mexico is signing a trade deal with China and several Latin American nations as he humors Trump, listening to him rant until he hangs up.

Other leaders around the world are just blowing them off just like the Republicans in Congress.

Bannon has created a series of turgid Soviet-style propaganda films like the 2006 "In the Face of Evil: Reagan's War in Word and Deed" which he exhibited at a couple of short-lived alt-right film festivals like the "Liberty Film Festival" which took place unnoticed in Los Angeles between 2004 and 2008.

His liberal Boston-based writing partner on the film, part-time playwright Julia Jones, says Steve Bannon was fascinated by war. When CNN asked why, her only response was "I'll have to ask him."

Bannon was clearly taken by the fact she had obtained a Masters in Russian Language at Chapel Hill University in North Carolina after she finished her undergraduate in English at Harvard., so his fixation with Russia and Putin goes way back. - linkedin.com
