I sent you more detail than you can absorb and understand in a month and you wanted to know what kind of thermometers were used......lol Do you realize that temps are constantly being taking by satellites and on ground monitors..... The chart I posted from the Times was a scatter plot showing all the data from different sources. The message it contained was the consistent trend clearly visible in the chart. Difference of a few tenths or even a degree at points around the globe are irrelevant to the conclusion, that is, the planets temp is rising... The interactive chart will show you what it's doing in selected parts of the world.
