This might be nothing but a temporary anomaly but it's been quite a while when VXX was positive on a day where SPY was also positive. Most of the time lately, it's been VXX negative when SPY is also negative. That's been the general rule lately.

Hard to make out a catalyst for the bearish trading to begin swamping the Buy-the Dip trends of late?
