If dealing with an armed robber, you'd best be armed yourself. My SIL that shot the pitbull ... what was he supposed to do, call Cesar Millan? How would you have handled a pit bull if you had small kids in your home? Remember, the constables didn't do anything except say he could 'take care of it himself.
