I normally stay out of this discussion for a couple of reasons.

1) I think it is arrogant to believe human beings can destroy all life on earth (a belief of one of my kids). Granted rise in sea level doesn't destroy all life, just makes it less fun.

2) There are three questions I am watching. A) Is the globe really on a trajectory of warming? B) Is it Human caused? C) Do Humans have the capacity to correct it? I'm not convinced we can but would love to see it.

Lets assume only 'C' matters. If someone can come up with a way to control climate, we will see deserts come to life, eliminate flooding, produce fresh water and abundant food. Israelis reclaimed a desert, I've seen other successful reclamation and sustainability projects, which is very promising but that's not climate control. I would invest in climate control if I thought it was real. Have you seen any models?
