burke, frankly ,if you were on the other threads you will see and I had puts on many of m positions. for obvious reasons I don't post any of my trades on this thread, only the thread that is pertinent to that stk do I post puts and calls and stk. I still buy allot of cheap puts. people call me crazy for doing this. but, I've been in this tech allot longer than you even and cpq has crashed 31 times and dell has crashed 21 times. I say cheap puts are part of any stk purchase. they saved my bottie on siii. and helped on down turns in cpq and atml. now cpq and atml are coming back.... glad the stuff worked out. I keep everything plugged into surge and then just turn it on and off.
