Yes because as I understand it even if the far right gets what they want and overturns Roe vs Wade then the outcome would be for the states to decide at that point.

You are assuming too much about the nature of the suit and ruling. A SCOTUS ruling on personhood for example could result in a nationwide ban that states would not be able to overrule.
