I have been reading him for 50 years and found him to be a totally repugnant man, dishonest and who seldom gets anything right.

I have an appreciation for his work. He's smart, thoughtful, and is clear and direct in his expression. Whether I agree with him or not, he always makes me think. And one of the few who can send me to the dictionary. I respect him also for the position against interest that he took wrt Trump.
