I just looked at ST. They don't seem to be retaining their earnings as measured by tangible book or, if you like, working capital (the latter seems to have improved a bit over the past year though).

PHO.V doesn't seem as compelling a value at the current price to me, although I intend to hold my position indefinitely. The P/ E is about 20x and the EV/ EBITDA about 10x. I'm holding out for better prices to grow my position, but I may end up regretting my waffling.

That and IPGP have been my best performers since July from a market perspective. Thanks again for bring the board's attention to the latter. By the way, I have been somewhat convinced by your argument that USNU doesn't have excellent long-term growth potential compared with some of these. I'll hold what I have but don't intend to buy more. Come to think of it, I ultimately bought SAFM as well. Good ideas are hard to come by these days.

Has anyone looked at CTSH?
