Maybe I'm misunderstanding the abortion issue. As I recall abortion was illegal in every state in the country. I remember we had to take a girl to Mexico one time to get an abortion when I was in college.

If the Supreme Court says that abortion is illegal that would apply to all the states I would assume because state laws are subsumed by federal law where they conflict.

But it's possible there's something I don't understand about this issue. I am not well versed on it.
