I don't believe it. I traded for 30 years and found that people are not very good at predicting the future. Krugman says just the opposite i.e. he thinks that were going to have a spurt of growth because of the massive stimulus spending that's going to take place.

Remember that's exactly what George Bush and Reagan did the minute they were elected, they cut taxes on the rich and increased defense spending massively, which is a stimulus. In Reagan's case, when he came into office Carter was running $50 billion a year deficits. That seems quaint today.

The very first year Reagan was in office he increased defense spending by 100 billion a year and cut taxes on the rich by 100 billion a year and increased the deficit from $50-$250 billion a year. He also forced the poor to pay taxes on the Social Security while making massive tax cuts for the rich. It's funny the working class Republicans don't realize what this guy did to them.

Those deficits ran for eight solid years and then Bush Senior carried them on for four more years and they added $3 trillion to the deficit in that period of time. Supply side economics!

When George Bush jr got in, he immediately made massive tax cuts for the rich and dramatically increased defense spending i.e. Iraq and Afghanistan.

Trump is going to do exactly the same thing he's going to make massive tax cuts for the rich, he's going to massively increase defense spending and he's going to massively pass a stimulus bill so he can give a lot of tax money to his corporate buddies and he's going to allows his corporate buddies to rape and pillage the land wherever they want.

Bottom line that will all be stimulus in the short-term and inflation, but result in a massive depression in the long term because it will also take most regulations off the financial sector and dark money.

In my opinion
