That essay seems a good primer for people with personality disorders who need to interact with their manager, a policeman, a judge or anyone else with authority. Most people learn these rules at a young age with their parents, teachers, principals and the police in some cases. For young Donald Trump his parents finally decided a military reform school was his only hope to learn how to become a responsible adult. This is almost a perfect demonstration of the limitations you can run into when parents outsource their parenting to others, even with the best intentions.
