BUS.....possible but personally I don't see it based on the amount of time this declared short has been on the books. Depending on the firm it costs large amounts of margin and in many situations heavy borrow fees and debit interest to carry a short.

I've shorted against 'in the money' warrants lots but the prudent approach is to exercise the warrants fairly quickly after doing the short....like the day of. Takes 5-7 business days for the exercised warrant paper to show up in your account and then you just do an in house clerical cover.

Running a short for as long as this guy has without executing the warrants is quite frankly not that bright. Of course running a short against BUS for this long is also not that smart. lol

From my understanding BUS has approximately 900,000 (.85) warrants remaining. And those are spread over a reasonably diverse holder base.
