yep, lots of politicians and managers using numbers unethically... tied to opportunism, persuasion, gaming, and fraud. by casting doubt on the legitimacy of numbers, politicians and managers maintain authority and rhetoric trumps science. this is politically pervasive, not isolated to one party.
