Don't renew automatically. Do the research AGAIN.

I received an email from Webroot (5 PC's/androids) that my subscription was up for renewal and an automatic charge would be made in a few days. I was undecided about switching to PCMatic, so I cancelled the automatic renewal.

The next email (almost instantly) offered me a $20 or $25 discount to renew. I took it. Now I find out that if I let it drop, I could have repurchased it for a $50 discount. DUH??

Fool me once.................
