I think you are missing the point that they are cleaning water and heavy oil waste- a valuable process which needs to be addressed by the oil companies, and in the process extracting minerals- (or a secondary process but part of the same project)

- This could make oil fields which are not profitable more viable and save lawsuits - at least that is how I understand some of the side effects-

They are also taking the process of extracting lithium through solar evaporation methods from 18 months down to one day-

i don't usually follow these long processes but this one could be a real game changer in a couple of ways-
