I would think the fiduciary standard could be mostly covered by AI (robo-advisor software). The real purpose of the advisor then comes in adjusting this generic result to the specific client, which would be a matter of fiddling with the software input parameters. The standard only applies to retirement accounts so I guess it would be more active for younger investors and then become more income reliant when the actual retirement date approaches.
