Here's another theory on minimum wage. Let's say we had an immediate $15 minimum wage across the country. In my opinion, what that would do is force the plutocrats to pay the people more money. This is money they would spend to make their lives better and it would also stimulate the economy.

There would be some adjustment for sure, but I think they would be less than people fear (including the south which needs it most) and that all in all the entire society would be better off because it would be pulling resources out of the rich's storage bins and spreading it around the society to everyone's benefit. .

So one way to look at a minimum wage is literally as a magnet to pull money out of the very rich and spread it around to the poor reducing income inequality which helps society and everybody does better.

I have yet to see a place where raising the minimum wage caused problems. I guess one of the areas the're pointing to data to prove this is the Seattle area where they raised the minimum wage to $15 and everything was fine.

One could look at a minimum wage as a tax on the rich which is in the best interest of society i.e. progressive tax structure. And transferring political power more evenly throughout society.

Especially given the death grip the plutocrats have on us now!
