Hello Thanh, you said: "May be Netscape think that they can replace Novell."

NSCP intent was not to replace NOVL. It's intent was to market their software for UNIX first and NT servers second....server O/S on which they thought the majority of the large corporations would migrate to for application servers/internet.....and indeed which has happened.

Porting to the NW 4.x platform would require writing NLM's. There has been a lot of third party bashing towards NLM's ever since NW 3.x first came out. I bet developers are just too happy to stop writing NLM's (this may have changed with NLM development under NW 4.x but under 3.x...it was a real pain).

NSCP was a small company. They gambled on UNIX and NT and it paid off for them big time. Had they gambled on NW 4.0/4.01/4.02 from the very beginning, then they would have been in the position we are in today.....waiting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
