yesterday the $12.50 August puts added another 230 contracts with no new calls being added.

I see you have the esteemed position of being the only open interest on that put - you market maker you !!

You did get a good price for it !!

Slumdogs idea of a synthetic long with selling a put short and buying a call long is interesting.

The timing on the webcast is just one day before the expiration of the February options.

Selling the August 12.50's makes sense - taking that money to buy some calls with one day shelf life is a lottery ticket.

Selling the put right away makes sense - for what ever little time premium it can gather - waiting till the day before the webcast should drop the call value if price stays sideways.

I guess the other approach is just buy the stock and reduce your money outlay by selling the put,l or just sell the puts and keep the money.

My head hurts .LOL

The other idea is have a beer.
