I'm not talking about your town, I'm talking about the greater good of our society and how I think that would work. And when you say:" that is why it is taking California six or seven more years to get to $15", that is not an economic theory based on any sort of deductive or inductive logic. You simply married those two ideas as though they were logical connections.

You have your opinion, I have my opinion. That's how democracy works.

And I'll ask you the same question I asked Neil, what is your remedy for the massive income inequality in our country that just continues to worsen and is one of the worst in the world.

All the people are saying that it is a bad idea that I've seen so far have not thought it through. They are just going from there got and not applying sophisticated economic analysis taking the entire ecology of our society into consideration.

By the way that is the same argument they used in the early 1900s when workers are trying to establish unions.

"If you instill a categorical $15 minimum wage across this country there is no way that is going to drive us into a depression. That is a silly idea as it will be a stimulus"

It will stimulate almost every business in my town, except the gas station, to close its doors. We don't have any plutocrats to pick up the tab, nor do many towns. That's why it's taking California 6 or 7 more years to get to $15, and that's starting from $10, not $7.25.
