I'm much more worried about Democrat attacks on free speech and freedom of assembly than I am about Trump making suggestions that are unconstitutional.

Predictably, you are not concerned about the attacks on free speech by the right. When someone says something the right doesn't like, they howl and pressure the employers to fire them. Often successfully. So, which is worse, not being able to give a speech at a particular time and place, or being fired?

As to Trump's moves that are unconstitutional, there has to be somebody that counters those moves. Congress isn't going to do it. The courts can, but Trump has to actually follow those rulings. And there are reasons to suspect he won't. That is not to mention his moves to muzzle the press.
