"Stiglitz touts the merits of an increased minimum wage"

A lot of us tout the benefits of an increased MW. I'm perfectly happy with the way we are doing it in Calif. I don't want to see it go faster, and I don't want to see Kansas or Louisiana do what we are doing. New Orleans, maybe; the state, no.

Stiglitz was pushing for $10.10, not $15; I'm not sure how fast a time-frame. As for Reich, he doesn't care if my town shuts down; none of the jobs are worth keeping. I'm not sure that's moral, but, whatever. I guess he thinks raising it is a moral choice, and closing down is an economic one, which doesn't count. His argument comes up a bit short.

Robert Reich: A $15 minimum wage is the only moral choice
If a wage increase eliminates jobs, they probably aren't worth keeping, argues the former secretary of labor
