Sojouner, I wouldn't get too worried about the large blocks going off at the bid price. It's quite possible many of those are actually buys. I've seen this type of action before with FTEL just prior to big news. Although it's quite a shock at first glance, it's actually a good sign if in fact they are buys. Don't fully understand how it works, but when large buyers with "clout" decide to buy, they often get the stock at a discount which is determined by the Bid price. I'm not saying this is what is happening in this case, just that I've seen it happen before and could be an explination for the trading activity the day before a "big news" announcement.
