Very apparently, those 3X leveraged type ETF instruments have such an aggressive time decay built into them, probably even worse than an out of the money option... I think the only way to make money with those kinds of instruments is to short them and forget about them... eventually, their price gets so low that they reverse split every now and then, and then the shrinkage begins all over again... they're great for very brief positions, but overall I believe those are scam markets... GZ
