the uc riverside longitudinal study that shows the incremental
increase of psychological stress levels since the 1980s, which is
about 1% per year...
or one might say that living in the u.s. is 30% more stressful today
than it was in the 1980s.

psychological stress is related to cardiovascular, endocrine,
gastrointestinal, and nervous system illness (heart attack,
diabetes, obesity, anxiety, depression)...
hey, there's a pill for that.
